VidAU collects personal data when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). We use each category of data only for the purposes listed below:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We are committed to protecting your data and will not allow any party to use your data for AI model training except VidAU itself using anonymized data internally.

Infrastructure service providers: We use third-party infrastructure providers to operate the Services—for example, Stripe processes payment information you provide (billing details, payment method) to complete subscription payments; AWS hosts and stores your uploaded files on cloud servers. These providers may process the minimum data necessary for their specific infrastructure function, act only under VidAU's instructions, and are contractually prohibited from using your data for AI training, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to their designated infrastructure services. Anonymized training datasets are never shared with any infrastructure provider.

AI model training is performed exclusively by authorized VidAU employees using only anonymized or aggregated data internally—infrastructure providers are not involved in and do not receive data for AI model training. We do not collect, store, or use biometric identifiers (such as facial geometry, fingerprints, or voiceprints) for user identification or any purpose unrelated to the specific AI task you request.

This Privacy Policy is publicly available and free to access for all users, including prospective users and app store reviewers. No account registration or login is required to view this policy.

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable law. VidAU provides the following methods:

Deleting your account will remove your profile information and associated account data from our active systems.

Send a data deletion request to privacy@vidau.ai from the email address associated with your account. Include your name, registered email address, and a clear statement that you wish to delete your personal data. We will verify your identity and process eligible deletion requests within **30 days**, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.

What we delete: Upon a valid request, we will delete or anonymize personal data we hold about you, including account information, uploaded content stored on our servers, and associated usage records, except where we must retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or protect the security and integrity of our Services (as described in Section 8).

Third-party copies: Deletion on our systems does not remove copies of content you may have downloaded, exported, or shared outside VidAU. You are responsible for removing such copies.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected data from a child under 16, please contact privacy@vidau.ai so we can delete it (see Section 9).

1.1 When you register a VidAU account, you provide the personal registration information required by VidAU.

1.2 When you use VidAU network services or visit VidAU platform web pages, VidAU automatically receives and records information on your browser and computer, including but not limited to your IP address, browser type, language used, Data such as access date and time, software and hardware feature information, and web page records you require.

1.3 User personal data obtained by VidAU from business partners through legal channels. You understand and agree that the following information does not apply to this Privacy Policy:

2.1 VidAU will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, user content, or interaction data to any third party. We may use infrastructure service providers (such as cloud storage and payment processors) solely to host, store, or process payments as described in our Terms of Service Section 4.6; such providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for AI training or any purpose other than providing their infrastructure services to VidAU. AI model training and improvement is performed exclusively by VidAU using anonymized data internally.

2.2 VidAU also does not allow any third party to collect, edit, sell or disseminate your personal information for free by any means. If any VidAU platform user engages in the above activities, upon discovery, VidAU has the right to immediately terminate the service agreement with the user.

2.3 Uploaded Materials: When you upload images containing faces or other biometric features, we only use such data to perform the AI processing tasks you have requested.

2.4 Biometric Data Statement: We do not store your biometric features for the purpose of identifying specific individuals on a long-term basis. Unless it is necessary to provide ongoing service functions (such as digital avatar services), we will delete such original materials in accordance with storage duration regulations after processing is complete.

2.5 Compliant Use: We will never use your uploaded private materials to sell to third parties or for unrelated advertising purposes.

2.6 For the purpose of serving users, VidAU may use your personal information to provide you with information that you are interested in, including but not limited to sending you product and service information. We will not share your personal information, user content, or interaction data with partners or third parties for marketing or AI training purposes except where you have given prior consent or where required by applicable law. If you want to cancel the aforementioned purpose, you can contact us or operate through your account or our Sites.

2.7 Synthetic Content and Biometric Data Compliance: We process images, videos, audio, and other materials containing biometric or likeness data solely to perform the AI processing tasks you request and in accordance with our Terms of Service. We will not use your uploaded materials to create synthetic or manipulated content depicting you or others in deceptive, unlawful, or unauthorized ways. You may not upload or submit materials containing another person's biometric data, likeness, or voice without that person's explicit and informed consent. If we detect or reasonably believe that uploaded or generated content violates applicable laws or our Terms, we may restrict processing, delete such content, and take other measures described in our Terms of Service.

Under the following circumstances, VidAU will disclose all or part of your personal information based on your personal wishes or legal regulations:

4.1 Compliance Assurance: We commit to complying with relevant data protection laws (such as GDPR, CCPA, or relevant regional cybersecurity laws).

4.2 Security Measures: We employ encryption technologies (such as SSL), access controls, and data masking to protect your data security and prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.

4.3 AI and Synthetic Content Compliance: We are committed to complying with applicable laws governing AI-generated and synthetic content, including requirements applicable to online intermediaries and digital platforms. We implement reasonable measures to detect and address misuse of our Services and cooperate with lawful requests from relevant authorities regarding illegal content.

The information and materials collected by VidAU about you may be stored on cloud infrastructure operated by VidAU, which may include third-party cloud storage providers (such as AWS) acting solely as infrastructure hosts under contractual data protection agreements. Such providers store data only as directed by VidAU and are prohibited from using your data for AI training or any purpose other than providing storage services. Data may be stored in your country, region, or other locations where VidAU or its infrastructure providers operate.

5.1 If you do not refuse to accept cookies, VidAU will set or access cookies on your computer so that you can log in or use VidAU platform services or functions that rely on cookies. VidAU uses cookies to provide you with more thoughtful personalized services, including promotional services.

5.2 You have the right to choose to accept or refuse to accept cookies. You can refuse to accept cookies by modifying your browser settings. However, if you choose to refuse to accept cookies, you may not be able to log in or use VidAU web services or functions that rely on cookies.

5.3 This policy will apply to the relevant information obtained through the cookies set by VidAU.

6.1 VidAU account has security protection function, please keep your username and password information properly. VidAU will ensure that your information will not be lost, misused and altered through security measures such as encrypting user passwords. Despite the aforementioned security measures, please also note that there are no "perfect security measures" on the information network.

6.2 When using VidAU network services for online transactions, you will inevitably have to disclose your personal information, such as contact information or postal address, to the counterparty or potential counterparty. Please properly protect your personal information and only provide it to others when necessary. If you find that your personal information is leaked, especially if your VidAU username and password are leaked, please contact VidAU immediately so that VidAU can take appropriate measures.

VidAU will store the collected Personal Data for the duration necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual relationship or legal obligations and permitted by applicable legislation. Beyond this duration, we will delete the Personal Data according to applicable legislation. In order for VidAU to be able to demonstrate the existence of a right or a contract or a legal obligation, the relevant Personal Data will be stored through intermediary archives for a duration that will not exceed what is strictly necessary regarding the purpose of the storage and in accordance with the applicable legislation. Regarding banking information, said information will be deleted once the payment has been processed and has become effective. Withdrawal time period could additionally apply. The number and the expiration date of the credit card number (not the CVV security code) could be stored through intermediary archives for evidence purposes in case of a claim regarding the payment, for the duration provided by applicable legislation.

VidAU's Sites and products are not intended for use by children under the age of 16 and we do not intentionally collect any information from users under the age of 16. If you do not meet applicable age requirements, please do not use those Sites and products. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided VidAU with Personal Data or that we have otherwise inadvertently collected this information, please contact us at: privacy@vidau.ai, so that we may delete the information from our servers.

Occasionally, we may change this privacy policy (or other documents related to privacy policy) to allow VidAU to use or share your Personal Data in a different way.
